  This is by far the best antique store on Long Island I make it a point to stop by as often as possible, because they so frequently get new stock of intriguing and unusual items!! Apart from the wonderful variety, the prices are amazing. I can indulge in fabulous Jewlery that won't break my budget. And Lynn is a total delight, she takes such a genuine interest in what I am looking for... she makes shopping there a real pleasure. I love Austern Antiques!

  This is my go-to store for absolutely everything. When I need a birthday, holiday or Mother's Day gift for anyone in my family - from daughters to great-grandma - I go to Lynn. when it's my friends' birthdays, I go to Lynn. When I need a particular piece of jewelry for an affair or to go with an outfit, or if I just feel like buying myself something, Lynn always has what I need. There is something for everyone. From the newest trends, to the timeless vintage pieces, Lynn has it all. She has gorgeous picture frames, holiday gifts, jewelry, chandeliers, furniture, etc. What makes it the best store in town is that Lynn exquisite taste. Lynn is also the most friendly and most helpful salesperson. Sometimes you may have to wait a few minutes because she really gives you individualized attention, and perhaps past reviewers think she is being rude, but they are soooo wrong! She simply takes her time with each person to make sure they find the perfect gift. Often, when I see a picture of something I like, I send it to Lynn and she tries to get it for me. Lynn is very honest about what looks good on you and what doesn't. Also, very important, her prices are so reasonable. Occasionally, I will see an item in her store that I have seen somewhere else, and her prices are always so much less than the other stores! I will never go anywhere else!!!!
